AI Use & Academic Disclaimer

This document explains how artificial intelligence is used on CampusPrep, the inherent limitations of generative AI, and your responsibility as a student when using AI study aids.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

1. Overview of AI on CampusPrep

CampusPrep leverages advanced artificial intelligence models to empower university students with instant, on-demand study resources. Our platform uses AI to simulate university exam conditions, generate diverse question variations, and provide rapid feedback at any time of day or night.

While artificial intelligence is a powerful study aid, it is an assistive technology. It is designed to supplement—never replace—your core university curriculum, authoritative textbooks, and academic instruction.

2. Which Features Utilize Artificial Intelligence

CBT & Theory Mock Generator

Synthesizes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), distractors, structured theory questions, marking rubrics, and conceptual explanations based on course codes, academic levels, and syllabus topics.

Handwritten Vision Grader

Uses multimodal optical reasoning to evaluate photos of handwritten student answers against structured academic marking rubrics, calculating point breakdowns and improvement suggestions.

Study Room Quiz Master

Generates synchronous, randomized quiz rounds for collaborative study lounges and campus-wide Super Rooms in real time.

Topic Diagnostics

Analyzes historical question errors to identify weak academic subtopics, providing targeted revision tips and practice recommendations.

3. Accuracy Limitations & Possibility of Errors

Generative AI Accuracy Notice:

Generative artificial intelligence models synthesize answers based on probabilistic patterns learned from training data. Consequently, AI-generated outputs may occasionally contain factual errors, inaccurate calculations, obsolete scientific theories, or misleading explanations ("hallucinations").

  • We do NOT guarantee that every AI-generated question, option, answer key, or explanation is 100% error-free.
  • In handwritten grading, variations in handwriting legibility, lighting, paper contrast, or camera blur may affect evaluation accuracy.
  • CampusPrep does not guarantee that scoring simulated on this platform will match official grades assigned by your institution's course lecturers or external examiners.

4. Student Verification Responsibility

As an aspiring graduate and university scholar, critical thinking and fact-checking are essential academic competencies. When using CampusPrep:

  1. Verify with Authoritative Sources: Always verify surprising, controversial, or formulaic answers against official university lecture slides, syllabus guidelines, and recommended course textbooks.
  2. Do Not Rely Exclusively on AI: AI-generated mock exams should be one of multiple study techniques (alongside past questions, tutorial classes, and study groups).
  3. Consult Your Lecturers: Where a contradiction exists between an AI explanation and your university department lecturer's notes, defer to your lecturer's authorized departmental standard.

5. Not Professional or Expert Advice

CampusPrep is an academic study companion for university students. Content generated by our artificial intelligence tools is provided strictly for educational practice and general informational revision:

  • Medical & Health Studies: AI explanations of human biology, pharmacology, or clinical cases are for revision only and must not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical patient decision-making.
  • Legal Studies: Discussion of Nigerian case law, statutes, or constitutional principles is for study purposes and does not constitute professional legal advice.
  • Engineering & Financial Studies: Calculations are simulations and must not be used for real-world engineering construction or financial transactions.

6. How to Report Problematic or Inaccurate AI Output

We are committed to continuously improving question quality and accuracy. If you encounter a question that contains a factual error, a typo, an ambiguous option, or incorrect grading feedback:

Ways to Report an Issue:
  1. Support Super Room (Fastest): Sign in and enter the Support Super Room in the Community section. Post the question or claim so our academic moderators and AI engineers can address it directly.
  2. Exam Review Screen: On the exam result review page, note the Question Number, Course Code, and the specific discrepancy.
  3. Email Support: Send an email to support@campusprep.online with the subject "Question Quality Report" including the course code and a screenshot or description.

Our team reviews reported questions regularly to calibrate prompts and refine answer validations.
